How to Work Through Fear on Your Spiritual Journey
Even When It Tries to Convince You You’re Not Ready
Hello My Friend,
One of the biggest illusions on the spiritual path is that once you awaken, the fear disappears.
If anything, it can feel like it gets louder—especially when you’re expanding, shedding old skins, or stepping into deeper levels of your power.
Fear often shows up not because you’re doing something wrong—but because you’re finally doing something right.
You’re interrupting inherited patterns. You’re releasing outdated identities.
You’re choosing trust in a world built to teach you fear.
Of course it feels edgy.
I know that feeling well.
There were times I felt like I had finally found my soul’s rhythm—only to be interrupted by a wave of self-doubt or an invisible weight of dread.
And the old programming would whisper things like:
“Who do you think you are?”
“What if you’re wrong?”
“Maybe it’s safer to shrink.”
But here’s what I’ve learned:
Fear dissolves when it’s witnessed with love instead of judged with shame.
And it becomes fuel when it’s turned into practice.
Why Fear Shows Up on the Spiritual Path:
Because you’re expanding beyond the familiar
Because your nervous system was trained to equate change with danger
Because your ego is trying to protect you from perceived risk, even when your soul is saying go
This doesn’t make you less spiritual.
It makes you human.
And it also makes you brave for continuing anyway.
Here are some simple, soul-tested practices—perfect for both beginners and seasoned seekers:
Name It Without Blame
Instead of pushing fear away or trying to be “above it,” name it gently:
“Ahh, this is fear. You’re here because something inside me is growing.”
When fear is seen, it no longer has to scream.
EFT Tapping (my personal favorite)
Fear often gets stuck in the body.
A few rounds of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can clear static quickly.
Even just tapping your chest (the K27point) while saying:
“I’m safe to feel this. I don’t have to figure it all out right now,” can interrupt spirals in real-time.
Use Frequency as Medicine
Your body responds to sound. When fear is loud, let healing tones be louder. Binaural Beats are wonderful (I use them daily)
Try:
396 Hz for fear release
528 Hz for heart healing
963 Hz for divine reconnection
Let the sound bathe your nervous system.
Choose Safety Over Certainty
Most fear comes from not knowing what’s next.
Instead of chasing control, ask:
“What would help me feel safe right now?”
Wrap up in a blanket. Enjoy a warm cup of tea. Use a grounding affirmation such as.
Safety is a doorway. Certainty is an illusion.
Let Faith Be a Daily Practice, Not a Performance
You don’t have to prove your faith. You just get to return to it.
Even if it’s shaky. Even if your voice trembles.
You’re allowed to say:
“I trust that something higher is holding me, even when I can’t see it yet.”
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is breathe, soften your jaw, and remember:
You were never alone in this.
Fear is not your enemy.
It’s just a messenger—often one asking for love, reassurance, and a little breath.
And every time you choose to stay with yourself through the fear rather than abandon yourself because of it, you become stronger, wiser, and more magnetic.
You’re not behind.
You’re just becoming.
And you’re doing it beautifully.
With Love and Gratitude
